Ex Scovil Corp. of Connecticut, RAU Canada division. The corporation closed down early this century and was effectively de-registered around 2009; the company had made the mistake of trying to get Chinese quality up to par. We bought the one-block-long building along with many of the precision presses and machine tools, and left it for the former highly skilled tool and die maker to reactivate with his children. That never happened. So this press has probably seen no service in over 25 years! It was always stored by us in dry, indoor premises.
