OPERATION:

Parts are attached to removable bars that clip into the orange conveyor segments on each side (red in photos)

The continuous conveyor carries parts into the full length cleaning / pre-treatment tanks. Various nozzles spray in pre-determined pattern for 100% coverage. Parts are rinsed and dried then go to the two cross-travelling stations of electrostatic coating.

The powder dispensing units and spray nozzles are on two separate carriages rolling cross-wise to the line moving at the required speed and spray volume, to achieve full coverage.  There are parking areas in the line for parts to gather to allow for variations in the time of completion of each batch or part type, thus buffering the system to optimize throughput.

The coated parts move up and over the opening sill, into the baking oven. Then on completion of the baking time the parts are lowered from the output sill to the unloading area.

There is variable speed horizontal conveyor in the unloading zone to gather parts as may be necessary for additional cooling, handling, packaging etc. as may be  necessary.

Personnel employed  as this line  was recently operating: 2 workers loading parts, 1 monitoring the overall process, and 2 workers unloading and packaging finished product .

For many smaller parts, the plant suggests that 2 additional workers might be needed loading and unloading parts.

BUT NOW… we’re told by an Industrial equipment instaler: “my powder coating expert knows this line and said: “Current estimated replacement installed cost –  10,000,000 Euros”

So… we’ll Sacrifice… Pay us one TENTH of that Replacement cost…… and it does the same thing . . . . . . with experience .. and BEST …
