K&T "Milwaukee" Model 2H-type vertical milling machine.
This heavy-duty milling machine still has lots of miles of milling left. It appears robust, in mostly original grey paint, and has all feeds and speeds; it appears complete and runs OK. There are no cracks or welds and no major leaks. For a machine of experience, the table is remarkably free of "error cuts" or divots. We believe all the gears in the drive train are complete, along with the speeds and feeds. The motor runs well.

Shortly before closing and moving to a new location around 1995, a tenant left us some equipment in lieu of rent owing. We sold the building and moved the remaining machines to our indoor warehouse. Our business went through a lot over the last 20 years; many items sat while we dealt with other big problems, and this machine was totally ignored. Then we decided this fine piece of American iron deserved to find a new, appreciative owner.
Before leaving, the former operator told us he needed another vertical mill "because this one wasn't milling straight." No wonder! We discovered the X-axis gib was missing: someone had removed it, and the table could be visibly wiggled. We cut the price because it needs a replacement gib. We'll have a gib made up at cost, or see the many YouTube tutorials by searching "make machine gib".
All the old Cincinnatis and Milwaukees are slowly disappearing. Now's your chance to pick up this classic; it looks identical to the "Milwaukee No. 2, Model H" illustrated on page 4 of K&T's parts manual. A complete parts manual is available for this model, so you can compare the drawings.
