This beautifully designed and constructed German ironworker is solidly built with very heavy fabrications, so there are few castings to break. It's very well engineered and looks to be in excellent condition. The nameplates are in both German and English, so it was meant for use in North America.

Everything is mechanical, so there are no seals or pumps to wear out, and no hydraulic pipes or hoses to spring a leak. The diagonal twin-bar vise clamps many sizes of stock, holding down material in the shearing blades.

They run very smoothly, with no sign of over-strain (i.e. little used). There appear to be no cracks or welds on any component whatsoever.
